“Our teachers have been working with schools and teaching dedicated pupils privately in Bexhill and surrounding areas for several years now, and it seemed like the perfect place for us to open our first ever Music Centre. We are beyond excited about this”

Sussex Music School have been working with local community groups such as ‘Rother Community Action’ and ‘Heart of Sidley’ to spread the word about the Centre, and raise money for items such as a Digital Piano. Longer term the Bexhill Music Centre hopes to be able to subsidise those on lower incomes.

The Centre is also seeking volunteers to help to run the centre.

Further information about the Centre and lessons along with how to book can be found.

Alex continues “We have been able to continue our lessons online throughout 2020/21 and are very much looking forward to being able to offer some in person learning with the community. As a not- for- profit we are dedicated to investing back into local communities to offer all children and adults the chance to learn an instrument and be involved. If you wish to donate to the Centre, apply for the volunteer role, or be involved in anyway please get in touch”
