At Sussex Music School, we support every child’s musical journey—whether they are aiming for formal qualifications or simply learning for enjoyment. For students who wish to pursue graded exams, we offer expert preparation for both Trinity College London and ABRSM boards. These exams provide clear goals, build confidence, and reward progress with official, internationally recognised qualifications that can support future study opportunities.

We also understand that exams aren’t right for every child. Many young musicians thrive through creative exploration, casual performance, and personalised progress milestones. For these learners, we offer an enriching alternative pathway that focuses on musical growth without the pressure of formal testing.

We are also excited to share that we are working towards becoming an official Trinity Digital Exam Centre by September 2026, allowing students to take digital assessments through us in a straightforward way.
