MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS

Music for All

This year we will be offering music scholarships for some of our Pupil Premium Pupils across Sussex. Teachers will nominate exceptional students who show promise, commitment and dedication to support their further training.

Matilda , pictured, says "I like playing piano because it let's all my emotions and stress out whilst I'm playing. I find it helps me relax. In the future I want to be able to play piano for all my family and friends. I really enjoy my lessons and would love to have longer ones."

Since the school's pupil premium budget only covered 20 minute lessons SMS agreed to top up the lessons to 30 minutes until the end of the school year and are in discussions with Matilda's parents about how we may be able to help Matilda in future.
