Sussex Music School is looking for creative, dynamic, qualified music specialists (QTS essential) to teach curriculum music lessons in Primary schools in Sussex. Experience and excellent classroom management essential. You will be assisted by a member of the school staff in all lessons.

In return you will join a dynamic community of musicians and music teachers with a shared aim of creating high quality musical experiences for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Ongoing training and support given, as well as the opportunity to use our planning resources and share your strengths and expertise with us. Cover work available immediately and there will be the opportunity to be allocated your own Primary Schools in which to teach music from September or before.

PRIMARY MUSIC TEACHER
INSTRUMENTAL TEACHERS

Sussex Music School is looking for creative, qualified, self-employed musicians to teach private pupils of all ages and abilities across Sussex. There may also be scope for some in- school teaching, subject to demand.
In return you will join a dynamic community of freelance musicians and music teachers with a shared aim of creating a high-quality musical experiences for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Ongoing training and support is given, as well as the opportunity to use our pooled planning resources and share your strengths and expertise with us. Sussex Music School is run by experts and has excellent rates of pay.

The suitable candidate would will have experience of teaching children and have a relevant music education qualification. be a fluent sight-reader and reader of both standard notation as well as tab.
You will need need to all or some of the of the following to be considered for this role:

grade 8 on an instrument

music degree

teaching experience (including primary age)
