​​​​​​A fun and welcoming workshop which celebrates traditional British maritime songs and folk tunes. Teaching children and young people traditional work songs, to encourage communal singing and help build confidence. The participants will learn two or more shanties with call and response  parts (as well as some fun shouting bits) and those who are brave enough will take verses. The  workshop will last an hour and will include well known shanties such as The Wellerman.
