ed is a guitarist and composer with a decade of experience on the touring and festival circuit. He has played across the UK and Europe as part of an award winning folk band, with appearances on stages at the Alexandra Palace and Glastonbury Festival. Ged's background lies in traditional British folk music, which formed a large part of his musical upbringing, before going on to complete a degree at the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2013. Ged strongly believes in the ethos of traditional music, the passing down of songs and music through generations and its importance within every-day culture. Through his work as a composer, Ged has explored many different styles of music to create soundscapes for use in visual media and has recently enjoyed writing gypsy jazz, medieval music and indie folk.
