SMS Pupil wins Seaford Young Musician Best Emerging Musician!

Huge congratulations to Sam’s Drumkit Student, who recently took part in the Seaford Young Musician Competition and won the title of Best Emerging Musician!

This amazing community event, by the Seaford Rotary Club, took place last weekend and offered local musicians a chance to play for an audience of friends and family.

Rightly proud Mum, Lucy saysHe absolutely smashed it did amazing, he even came away with a £20 prize for best emerging musician, as you can imagine he is buzzing and wanted me to send you, his performance!!!

Thanks for suggesting he entered we had some amazing compliments from others so are bursting with pride 😊”

Teacher Sam says “N has been learning drums with me for almost three years. In that time, I struggle to think of a week when he arrived at a lesson having not practised, which is a real testament to his dedication to the instrument and his successes are fully deserved.

This year, he passed his Grade 2 Drum Kit exam and has also been awarded a prize for Best Emerging Artist by Seaford Rotary Club. Both achievements are a reflection of his consistent hard work, and I am sure there will be many more to come.”
