Demelza is a professional drummer with experience performing across the UK, Europe, and beyond as a session musician. She has played major venues and festivals, including a standout show at Crystal Palace Park supporting Iggy Pop, as well as performances at Latitude, Reading & Leeds, and Boardmasters. Her background growing up is in orchestral and samba bands and she is confident in sight reading, which she teaches alongside drumming technique. With a varied background across different styles, Demelza can help students develop solid technique, timing, and confidence on the drums. She tailors lessons to suit each student, whether they are beginners or looking to refine their skills. Beyond performing and teaching, Demelza has appeared in several documentaries about life as a mother and alternative musician. She has also spoken at industry events and on the radio about improving opportunities for women in music. She aims to make learning the drums accessible and enjoyable for all ages and levels.
