She has been a Primary Music Specialist for 13 years working with children from EYFS to KS2 with a diverse range of needs and backgrounds. Beth ensures her lessons are inclusive, creative and happy occasions where children are able to flourish and develop their musical skills and knowledge. She loves teaching all aspects of the Primary Music Curriculum but particularly enjoys teaching singing and whole class instrument tuition including: recorder, djembe, glockenspiel, keyboard and ukulele. She has experience of delivering extra curricular clubs such as ensembles, choirs, and music technology.
Beth passionately believes that music is for all and that all children should have access to rich musical experiences. She is also a firm advocate for music being a powerful tool to boost wellbeing and bringing people together.
In her spare time Beth loves going to see live music and playing clarinet in her local community orchestra. She also loves cooking, knitting and being out in nature.
