TOBY

Toby qualified with a 1st class honours degree in Vocal performance in 2016, and has been working full time as an instrument teacher ever since. He has taught at top vocal schools in Canada and the UK, teaching people from all different backgrounds of music training. Toby is a folk musician himself, and plays finger style guitar, but enjoys and has taught a huge range of styles. He has a distinction level diploma in contemporary guitar performance. Toby has a great rapport with his students, and puts a big emphasis on creating a comfortable and positive learning environment in which you can thrive and achieve your musical goals. He started gigging in Dorking, where he grew up, and has continued to work on his live performance throughout the last 14 years, as well as the technical mastery of his instruments.
