We are delighted to now be offering Group Lessons for up to 6 people for £50.00 per hour (£55.00 if teacher comes to you and dependent on distance). Please note that we do not arrange the groups, individuals set up groups and we supply a teacher who will come to visit or host you at their studio. There must be one point of contact for invoicing and arrangements.

The Teachers listed below have current availability to offer group and one to one lessons as listed. Please note all groups must be arranged between friends/family and invoiced to one person in blocks of 6,8 or 10.
TOBY
Singing and Guitar
Kemptown, Brighton and Hove
Toby qualified with a 1st class honours degree in Vocal performance in 2016, and has been working full time as an instrument teacher ever since. He has taught at top vocal schools in Canada and the UK, teaching people from all different backgrounds of music training. Toby is a folk musician himself, and plays finger style guitar, but enjoys and has taught a huge range of styles.
ALEX
Guitar

Alex has taught and played guitar professionally for over 25yrs and has a 100% pass rate for all exams. Alex has played on films, the radio and in a variety of differing line ups from solo guitar to band gigs in Theatre both in the UK and internationally. He studied guitar at the Guitar Institute of Technology alongside the more traditional route of Classical grades, to give him a solid foundation of contemporary and Classical approaches both in his playing and teaching.

Emma is originally from Ireland and now based in Brighton. After completing her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2013, Emma joined the West End/Broadway smash hit show STOMP in 2014 and toured extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and South America with the company.
PAUL

Paul started playing the guitar at the age of ten receiving lessons from Philip Woodfield and Chris Susans. Paul gained an ABRSM Grade 8 with distinction and won the Burton Music Festival 1st prize in 1989.
RUSS
Violin and Music Theory

Russ is an experienced teacher, having begun his teaching journey over 20 years ago in the Middle East before returning to the UK in the early 2000's, basing himself in Brighton. He taught violin and viola with the East Sussex Music Service for 18 years,and has extensive experience teaching individuals and small groups (in person and via online platforms), coaching string orchestras and chamber music groups from beginner to advanced levels.

I am a passionate, dedicated flute musician and teacher. I have over 20 years’ experiences in teaching flute and recorder individually in groups and ensembles. I have been teaching in UK since 2008, running workshops, soundmakers, individual and group lessons.
